Important Safety Warnings

Please read carefully before using your Snuggle Sack:

1. The Snuggle Sack is meant to assist in supporting your baby. It is NOT meant to carry your baby exclusively. Your baby should always sit deep in the seat area of the sack. (in the seam sided bucket) NEVER carry your child in any other manner. ALWAYS keep one arm encircling your baby at ALL times for support, safety and balance. Preferably, BOTH ARMS should be used to support your baby while in the sack at all times. (See picture in front page)

2. The Snuggle Sack can be used by newborns up to children weighing 30 lbs. However, only use the Cradle Snuggle Carry position for newborn babies until they are able to sit up unassisted. All babies are different, so keep this in mind when beginning to use the Hip and Kangaroo Snuggle Carry positions. (See Diagram A-C) When carrying your baby in the Snuggle Sack, always be aware and pay attention to your surroundings at all times. For newborns up to 9 months, make sure you are supporting your baby’s body with both hands at all times. When your baby is able to sit up unassisted, you may use one hand to encircle him while in the Snuggle Sack. Be aware that your baby may grab things, and hold on to objects while in the Snuggle Sack. Make sure that you pay attention at all times to keep you and your baby comfortable and safe.

3. The Snuggle Sack is NOT to be used once your baby weighs more than 30 pounds. If you experience any discomfort or pain while wearing the sack, discontinue its use.

4. The Snuggle Sack is NOT a car seat or any other safety restraint. In the event of an accident, your baby would have no restraint and could be seriously injured or killed. NEVER cover your baby’s face with the fabric. NEVER put your baby’s face against the fabric. Failure to comply with this may result in serious injury, suffocation or even death.

5. NEVER use the Snuggle Sack while cooking, drinking hot liquids, blow-drying your hair, swimming, bicycling, participating in any kind of sports, running, swimming, exercising, jogging, or any strenuous kind of activity. It is only meant to be worn while leisurely walking, standing and sitting in a manner that is not strenuous, where you can give your full attention to your baby while in the sack. NEVER bend over or hold your body in a way that will compromise the safety, comfort and balance of your baby in the Snuggle Sack as this may cause your baby to fall out of the sack resulting in serious injury or even death.

6. Before using your Snuggle Sack, ALWAYS check to make sure that the seams and the fabric are in good condition. If there are any worn or torn areas of the fabric, loose seams and stitching or any signs of structural weakness, discontinue use immediately.

7. When removing your child from her Snuggle Sack, sit down and carefully remove your baby with BOTH hands making sure that your baby is no longer attached to the sack. NEVER put your baby onto a car seat, crib, bassinet, bed, play area, bouncer, walker, stroller, high chair, swing, or any other device with the Snuggle Sack still on. A child could strangle or suffocate if left in the Snuggle Sack unattended. The Snuggle Sack is NOT meant as bedding or as a blanket. NEVER allow your child to play with the Snuggle Sack.

8. The Snuggle Sack is not a diaper bag or a purse. Never put anything in the Snuggle Sack like keys, cell phones, wallet, etc. other than your baby. It is not meant to hold anything else but your baby. Using it in any other way could interfere with its ability to work as intended and may cause injury or death.

9. When you are wearing the Snuggle Sack, ALWAYS BE AWARE THAT YOU ARE WIDER THAN USUAL. Move carefully around doorways, sharp edges and corners, objects that are hot or anything that can hurt your child.

10. The Snuggle Sack is NOT TREATED WITH A FIRE RETARDANT. Therefore, it is important not to use it while cooking, while around hot and flammable areas such as heaters, barbecues, etc. DO NOT SMOKE while using your sack and STAY AWAY from areas where people are smoking.

11. When nursing your baby while in the Snuggle Sack in the cradle hold position, it is recommended that you be SEATED AT ALL TIMES during this process and ALWAYS encircle your arms around your baby for support, balance and safety.

12. NEVER use the Snuggle Sack for babies who are unable to sit up unassisted or for babies with spinal or other muscular disabilities.

13. Please remember that the Snuggle Sack is made based on your size. Therefore, it is NOT recommended that any one else wear the Snuggle Sack with your baby. Failure to comply with this warning may cause serious injury, suffocation or death. Additionally, NEVER allow anyone who has not read and followed these guidelines to use and or wear the Snuggle Sack at any time.

Thumbelina Baby recommends that you strictly follow all these guidelines to ensure comfort and safety to you and your baby. Using the Snuggle Sack in any other way may cause serious injury or death. Thumbelina Baby assumes NO responsibility in the event of an accident, injury or death and therefore recommends that all safety guidelines and proper use of this product be followed at all times.

Washing/Care Instructions: Spot clean with a damp cloth or baby wipe when needed. Hand wash cold, mild soap, do not wring, and lay flat to dry. Cool iron if necessary. You may also Dry Clean this product.

Fabric Content: 22% Silk and 78% Rayon Blend. Proudly made sweatshop free in the USA.

Our Return Policy

All returns must be made within 10 days from receipt of delivery in unused and undamaged condition for a refund, exchange or store credit. Custom orders are not returnable. Shipping costs for returned goods are the responsibility of the buyer. All returns or exchanges shall be at Thumbelina Baby’s discretion.

All returns must also be accompanied with the original sales receipt issued by Thumbelina Baby. We are unable to return items purchased through other vendors. No exceptions.

Shipping Policy

Please allow 7-10 business days for your item to be shipped. In some cases, shipping may be delayed based on the availability of your order. We will inform you immediately if there will be any anticipated delays with your order. Please allow 3-4 weeks for all custom orders. Items are shipped via United States Mail via Priority Service, insured with signature confirmation required. You may also request UPS or Fed-Ex services at an additional cost. Please call us at 818.981.0262 if you wish for us to ship via UPS or Fed-Ex. If your order is time sensitive, please give us a call so that we may properly process your request
